Thank you for choosing the University of North Georgia!

Please note that it is possible to reach capacity before the deadline, so completing your application earlier is better.  Applications submitted after the deadline, or after capacity has been met, will automatically be updated to the next available semester.

Please read below for important information regarding the application process.

Application Requirements

Apply for admission and send in official supporting documents as early as possible.  The online application requires submission of the $30 fee.  Applicants who have an SAT or ACT fee waiver form must complete and mail UNGs Application for Undergraduate Admission with the waiver form.  Applications printed from GAfutures and mailed will be returned to the applicant.

Due to course and/or housing availability, we cannot guarantee admission for the term in which you wish to enroll.  Once university capacity for a term/campus has been reached, we will no longer be able to accept students for that term/campus.  Please note that acceptance to the university does not guarantee a class schedule at particular times or at that location.  Students whose primary campus is Gainesville, Cumming, or Oconee are encouraged to confirm off-campus housing options only after they have completed class registration.

Once you have successfully submitted an application for a semester, that semester will no longer be listed if you later apply again.  It takes approximately 1-2 business days before your application will become available online at  If you are unsure that you have submitted your application, you can go to and review the date and time of submission, confirmation number and semester of your application.

Application Deadlines

Applicants must submit a completed application, a non-refundable $30 application fee and all required documents, including transcripts and proof of lawful US presence if applying for in-state tuition, by the application deadline to the office listed below:
