Application Requirements

1. Complete and submit this GAfutures application, including a $40 non-refundable application fee.
2. Submit all high school and college transcripts.
3. Submit proof of lawful US presence if applying for in-state tuition.
   
   While submission of ACT or SAT scores is not required for admission to UNG through summer 2025, there may be implications of not submitting them if you have them. Learn more about Learning Support course requirements. Submission of test scores does not change a student's admissibility. 
   
   For submission of official test scores (ACT or SAT), UNG's school codes are: ACT - 0848 and SAT - 5497
   
   

Please Note:

1. If you apply for multiple semesters, you will be charged a non-refundable $40 application fee for each submission.  If you have submitted an application for an upcoming semester and would like to update your application to one semester earlier or later, please do not submit an additional application online.  Contact our office at admissions-gvl@ung.edu for assistance.
2. Applicants who have an SAT or ACT college application fee waiver will need to upload a .pdf of the waiver to page 3 of this application.
3. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for your application to become available online at https://ungssb.ung.edu/pls/ungprod/UNG_F02_PKG.check_appl_status. However, you may verify your submission at www.gafutures.org.
4. It is your responsibility to submit the above-mentioned documents.
5. Please understand that not all programs are available to residents in all states.  Please check UNG's State Authorization and Professional Licensure website (https://ung.edu/online-learning/state-authorizations.php) to ensure that you reside in an authorized state for your proposed degree program.

Capacity

1. It is possible for us to reach capacity for a term/campus/housing before posted deadlines; complete your application as soon as possible. If capacity for a term/campus/housing has been reached, we will no longer be able to accept you for that term/campus/housing. We may offer you the opportunity to be considered for another campus or term.
2. Acceptance to the university does not guarantee a class schedule at particular times or at that location.
3. Do not confirm off-campus housing until you have completed class registration. The majority of your courses may be on a different campus.
