Information and Instructions - READ PRIOR TO COMPLETING APPLICATION
Please note:
Transcripts: Please request your counselor or principal to electronically send an official transcript of all high school work to the Office of Admissions. This should be done before the completion of your senior year in high school. Upon graduation, your counselor will need to electronically submit your final high school transcript with the official date of graduation and also with high school graduation test scores (if graduating from a Georgia high school). If you participated in Dual Enrollment, request your college transcript from the institutions' Registrar's Office in order to receive credit.
ACT/SAT exam: If you have not previously taken the College Board exam, we highly recommend and encourage you to take the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) on the next scheduled date. Be sure to request that a copy of your scores be sent electronically to Savannah State University and remember to register for the test well in advance of the testing date to avoid late registration fees and college admission deadline dates.
Faxes: When faxing documents to the Office of Admissions please print your full name, date of birth, student ID and enrollment term at the top of each page.

In accordance with Board of Regents Policy 4.3.4, all applicants who are accepted for admission or readmission to Savannah State University and who seek to be classified as in-state for tuition purposes, will be required to provide validation of residency and lawful presence in both the State of Georgia and the United States.
