Steps to Applying to Fort Valley State University

All undergraduate applicants for admission must submit an application and a $20 nonrefundable application processing fee. If you are eligible for a SAT/ACT fee waiver, print the Request for Admission Application Fee Waiver Form, complete the student section, have your guidance counselor complete the authorized official section, and mail the completed form, along with the original SAT/ACT voucher (copies will not be accepted), to the Office of Recruitment and Admissions.

All supporting documentation and the application must be submitted by the deadline for the term you wish to enroll. An admissions decision will not be rendered until receipt of a complete application. Official transcripts and test scores must be sent to FVSU directly from the sending school or agency. Official transcripts are required from all colleges attended unless you are applying as a non-degree post baccalaureate student, which only requires the baccalaureate transcript.
