CONSOLIDATION OF ARMSTRONG STATE UNIVERSITY AND GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY

In January 2017, the University System of Georgia Board of Regents voted to consolidate Armstrong State University and Georgia Southern University. If approved, the new Georgia Southern University will be formed in January 2018 and the expected timeline for the first entering class will be fall 2018. For now, students should apply to the campus they plan to attend. This application is for students wanting to attend classes in at the Armstrong campuses located in Savannah and Hinesville. If you want to attend the Georgia Southern campus in Statesboro, you should apply to Georgia Southern University.
